Zombie bird

Any idea what these birds are? Weirdest things I have seen. The living dead in bird form.....
Sorry about the photo quality-heavily cropped.

It's a common Indian miner with a moulting disease.

I had a bald-headed Indian Miner living around my place a few years ago-it certainly looked odd!

Hehe, they don't live, around my place!

I trap and kill them, before they have time to settle in.

The markings and beak colour are definitely those of an Indian Mynah. Funny thing: in China these same birds have black feathers, not chocolate brown. Same markings and break colour though.

I was going to say an Indian myna but didn't have the yellow ring around the eye so wasn't certain. certainly a pest if it is.

hi Shane, do you use the co2 method or how do you euthanize them? we have a few colonies around here that have scared off most of the natives sadly.

Thanks everyone
Didn't realise they were a pest. Zombie bird is probably an apt title then
