More Holiday Craft

Here's some more crafty ideas to keep the kids busy over the holidays.

A Col. Chris Hadfield paper doll. http://madartlab.com/2013/12/30/new-...ld-paper-doll/

A Bwian Cox paper doll. http://madartlab.com/2013/09/23/brian-cox-paper-doll/

But best of all, and I've made this one with my teenage son and it's totally amazing and cool, it's a paper dragon that follows your gaze.
It's best to close one eye when looking at the dragon as the illusion literally pops out at you.

Hey jjj,

the paper dragon is so cool. It was a total mystery to me how it was done until the camera went all the way around in both directions.

I'm tempted to make one, but there's no kids around young enough to do it with. I don't want them all to find out I'm just a big kid myself - lol

Not so sure about the Bwian Cox doll though. Can't see that 'upping' my street cred much

Thanks for sharing

Love the extra "Things at which to stare wistfully" for Brian Cox.

I think I'm going to have to make these ones too.

There is no excuse for not making one. It's an amazing illusion and you can only really appreciate it when you have one in your hands.

I had a good time and that's the main thing isn't it?
