Haven't used the solar gear for a time.....

Seeing wasn't great, some limb features simply wouldn't stack cleanly.

That looks beautiful. What time exposures and stacking was that done in? What scope as well if thats OK.

Ta....Gear details are on the linked page ..... 6.6ms exposure times. Registax 6

Thanks Paul.... just got back for Christmas...left Santa in the Holding Pattern over Bindook....ATC has no holding exceptions for polar flights apparently

This one was a single (i.e. no mosaic) disk grab, courtesy my new reduction lens that just squeezes the sun onto the sensor. Looks promising.
