Beautiful experience!

Was driving home from Brisbane this morning, and coming up to Caboolture. Anyone that knows this area knows Caboolture aerodrome is RIGHT NEXT TO the Bruce Highway.

Anyway, from a good distance, I spotted a slow moving aeroplane, that looked peculiar. As I got closer I relised it was a TRIPLANE! And of course, the best known triplane is the Fokker DR.1 Dreidecker - best known as the final mount of Baron Von Richthoffen, aka The Red Baron.

Sure, enough, it was a full sized exact replica of the Dr.1. Was a marvelous sight to watch, and very evocative. Such a shame I was driving.
