Realm of the Horse Lord

Oh well, another HH.

I added another 6 hours to my initial "Starwaves" Horsehead region with the RHA f/3.8

I was going to say still B&W again ...but regardless it is a lovely B&W rendition John, the details are great but removing most of the stars and just leaving the brightest ones the detail stands out even better and makes it a fresh view I think

A great photo John.

The detail and smooth tones......amazing!

This image is closer to art than just a photo.

Ross.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Would you belive I'm thinking about adding more data to this? I was not completely satisfied with some of the noise in the dark areas. Well no, I think I must move on to something else. There must be something else obscure in Orion I can go after here in the city. Maybe that dark cloud (Goblin nebula), off of M78 is in order. I did a quick look for it last night and it is very faint.

Keep going. You have lots of data in that image that can be stretched a little more.
