Arrrrr Captain Jack Sparrow is back

Break out the rum casks , unfurl the sails and sing some sea shanties the second Pirates of the Caribbean film is out .Saw it last night, brilliant two and half hours of cinematic escapism of high adventure led by the mischievous larrkin pirate Capt Jack Sparrow .Won't add any spoilers but splendid follow up and definitely worth seeing ....Savvvy

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...owPotC1_01.jpg

Elizabeth Swann: That's it, then? That's the secret grand adventure of the infamous Jack Sparrow - you spent three days lying on a beach drinking rum?

Jack Sparrow: Welcome to the Caribbean, love.

Jack Sparrow: [after Will draws his sword] Put it away, son. It's not worth you getting beat again.
Will Turner: You didn't beat me: you ignored the rules of engagement. In a fair fight, I'd kill you.
Jack Sparrow: That's not much incentive for me to fight fair, then, is it?

Yep, Going to see it in Gold Class tonight.
Looking forward to seeing Johnny Depp at his brilliant best again.

As side note did you know he modeled Cap'n Jack Sparrow after Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones?

Theres a strong rumour that Keith Richards is going to do a guest appearance in the next Capn Jack film.

Not only did Johnny Depp apparently model his character after Keith Richards, but that's how he actually presented himself when he did the first reading before he had the role. They loved the look, but told him to tone it down a little, it was supposedly too far out!

My favourite quote from the first movie:

(naval offficer, with a plum up his .. drainpipe):
" You are simply the worst pirate I have ever heard of! "

(Captain Jack)
" ah, but you HAVE heard of me! "

That's were the refined people go Dave. When you don't want o slum it.

Great movie! Can't wait for the next one now.

Stuart, I've still got the scene of him running down the beach etched in my mind. Cap'n Sparrow is a classic.
