Ison c2012 - outburst - as I saw

As I saw:

first: the comet alive

second: the begining of outburst: the bright region left behind with no continuity with de head of comet.

third: not viewed, but already died

fourth: the consequence of outburst. The bright at region where ISON was travelling

note: it seems the better place to this post should be in General Astronomy > Observational and Visual Astronomy > ISON outburst.

But there are something, yet. And as it will leave some debris that our planet will intercept... Some show or some problem may be present at that time.

It doesn't seems as comet. There is no head and tail. It seems more many debris together.

The latest C3 image is showing signs of life. Saw a fairly bright core emerging, so it might be still alive yet.

Yes, Ray. They are SOHO LASCO C2 images. Perhaps because my bad english when I wrote: ... as I saw ... I want to say: ... as I think or understand that things happened ...

Paul, I think that there are many debris together. Because of the shape. But I am anxious to know if he is alive as comet, yet.

Earth will intecept the debris at January 14 and 15. if these debris are bigger than would be without outburst, perhaps we will see a great show at that time.

But I am not expert with comets. I haven't knowledge to talk about.

I would not be so hasty. LoveJoy lost its tail and had very little left with a closer perihelion passage than ISON. Next 18 hours will tell us what is going on. It may well be a pile of rubble, but it might have survived just a little.

just went to the website and they put up a video clip of the comet. It looks like its still alive. Great news!!!

Different shape before and after.

It seems that some tail is being visible at the left side of comet. Meaning that materials are being lost from a nucleus. Despite of his bigger coma, the tail may be an evidence that there is a nucleus with some ice, and so an alive comet !
