Very nice Tony,

But is the red over done? Just that many of the stars have a red fringe. I don't profess to know much about DSOs so take what I said with very little experience on my part.

Always like your images.

Amazing how well it goes for F10 shooting, goes to show you dont have to shoot at fast f ratios with modded DSLR's. For a good idia of "correct" colour of the Dumbell this is a useful page.

Mine you blue was lacking in the other nights state of origin, lol.

Very nice Tony,

On the lower left of most of the stars there is a red fringe, any one know where that is comming from?

Won't be long and I will be cutting my teeth in this area, and I hope you do like wise and scrutinize my images. Thanks.

That would be due to the optics Lester....unless you go for a high priced ED refractor or somehow to get rid it without damaging your image i'm afraid we will have to live with it.

You can reduce this in imagesplus with the halo reduction tool but I am just trying to keep the processing down as much as possible as I over do it most of the time.

Thanks for your reply Tony, I can live with that small bit of fringe. I suppose to get rid of it you would need a telescope costing double what your refractor did. Some times common sense must prevail.

I have not got images plus.

NICE!
I like it a lot, well done
And it sounds like it was a lot of effort.... "...while watching the footy..."
:]

the 200R might be something I'll look at inthe future...you're not bored with it yet are you?

Thanks Frank.

Definition of Striker = Least effort with most gain.

I like to make things very simple for myself so then I can enjoy lifes other delights like watching the maroons win.
