Celestron CG5-GT & C8N Tube & Accessories

Up for sale is a Celestron CG5-GT GOTO mount, with C8N 8" reflector tube.
Comes with:-
Celestron 9x50 finderscope,
CN16 GPS
Expansion port connector
30mm Plossl
10mm Plossl
GSO 5x ED Barlow
Mains power supply for mount
RS232 cable for mount
Spare hand controller (not shown in pics)
Microsoft Webcam with lens removed for entry level planetary work
2" Eyepiece adapter
Spare power board for the mount

This mount has been recently been given new life, as i changed both the main and power boards after i cooked the main board by being stupid
Also, in being stupid, i managed to stuff up the wiring to the RA motor, and so that was replaced too, so its mostly new!

The tube is clean and holds collimation well, as far as my average knowledge on the subject tells me.

Reason for selling? The usual....more aperture....bigger mount

Sample images show Eta Carina through the tube using a D7000, and also that the mount can also be used as a tracking device for wider field shots, such as the Antares shot using the D7000 with 50mm lens.

Happy to demo for locals in Adelaide

Prefer pick up but shipping could be arranged at buyers expense

Price: $900

Regards

Bob
