First go with Canon 1100D - Tuc47

Hi all,

Got myself a Canon 1100D after a few people mentioned it was a good camera for AP and a good slight upgrade from my old Canon 400D. I was very impressed with the noise levels at ISO1600 very happy.... so I slewed over to a simple target TUC47 to give the new camera a test run... This was the first time I had used live view, boy doesn't that make life easy... This shot is a combination of 10 x 60sec exposures at ISO1600, stacked in DSS. I also have some 9 second exposures also which I will stack soon to add to the core of the globular cluster. This was also the first image to come out of my recently almost completed observatory (still have to run power and bolt the pier down)
