Variegated Wren with fly.

Along an old scrub line,saw a pair of wrens,they kept going back to one spot,I soon observed a nest-on the ground!,did not stay too long before moving on to check some trail cameras near by.But manged a few quick images.Here is male with food for young.Image taken with Canpn 50D and 400 mm prime lens at 1/1000 iso 400,F8,manual mode.Hope this is of interest.

Thanks all,for feed back,yes-a very beautiful tiny bird,that moves all the time.Have been very lucky to be able to be close enough a few times to get a few good images.

Top pic Chris thes are one of my favourite birds. If I'm lucky I can sometimes see all 3 blue/red and variegated all in the one arvo.
