Should've been in Melbourne last night. 143km/h gust in Port Phillip Bay just south of the CBD, 120km/h at St Kilda and 117km/h at Essendon Airport and 115km/h at Laverton.

This is what we woke up to this morning after the storm went through Melbourne.

Our next door neighbors branch landed on our property. We were lucky, if it landed 2 meters forward it would have got the house and cars. Lucky it only took out 2 panels of our connecting fence between our house and shed.

Very windy again today. Will be interesting to see how strong it gets as the cold front passes over the next few hours.

Absolutely NOTHING came out of the severe weather warnings for yesterday. Nada. I could not even hear or see ANY lightning, and no wind above normal intensity.
