I recon if you have the patience to collect some good RGB and Lum and put it all together you would have a unique image of the SMC area

I have three more frames of RGB that add to the bottom of the RGB mosaic with plenty of overlap. This data fixes the slight distortion in 47Tuc.
What I really need is OIII data to balance with the NII data and then merge with RGB to at least get the three panels. I need Moon free nights to collect decent deep OIII data.
The aim ultimately if weather is kind is to make a nine panel mosaic in blended RGB and deep NB.
Some tears/years ago I had just wasted another Saturday doing housework. I decided it was a total waste of time. My girlfriend offered some time ago to get all her cronies (I use the term deliberately) to come and 'clean' my house. It was a take over plot! I have resisted to the point of stubbornness. I like my solitude and total independence. At my time of life I just do not want to play house with another potential dictator no matter how benign!
My house is my shed. My observatory is the only place worth keeping in order.
I will attempt to collect till the day I die. They will have to prise the keyboard and mouse from my cold dead hands!
All those years of practice with the Canon 300mm lens has made this major jump to master the new system a bit less difficult. At this stage I think I am just about there. Of course the reality is we never attain perfection. There is no ideal system. It all depends on what one wants to record and display. With me it is simple. Wide fields and mosaics at a decent resolution and very deep. I do for the moment have a dream system and it is up to me to be worthy of it by pushing it to its full potential.
My sharing of raw data is part of this. I do not want to be the limiting factor in this quest. I know there are many who can get more out of my data than I can.
