Angry ebay driving me mad

About 10 days ago I listed my Canon 30D on ebay. Two days before the end of the auction someone used Buy It Now. They were a new member with zero feedback. After three days of chasing I gave up, lodged a complaint and relisted the item last night.

This morning it sold with the Buy It Now option from someone with 100% feedback (from 557 transactions). But tonight I get a message from the guy saying his account has been hacked and he didn't buy it!

What the...???

Some items are not worth listing as 'buy it now'. Mobile phones in particular will have all the scammers out. They buy from overseas then tell you funds will be cleared when they get postage info.
