Thumbs up Senna - Channel 7 Sat 28 Sept 21:40

For IceInSpace F1 aficionados who missed the 2011 documentary at the cinema
or on DVD, "Senna", airs this coming Saturday 28th Sept 2013 on Channel 7 at 21:40.

Drawing upon a resource of original footage, the story chronicles the life and death
of Brazilian motor-racing champion, Ayrton Senna.

This film won the documentary award at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and at
the 2012 British BAFTA awards and at the 2011 Melbourne Film Festival.

Even if you are not an F1 follower this story is so well told that it is sure to captivate you.

Thanks, I have the DVD but I have only watched it 47 times so far. Thoroughly recommended viewing. I watched every one of his 161 Grands Prix, pure magic.
No one has come close to Senna's skills in the wet since.

I watched it last night. Although I was a Alain Prost fan back in the day, I found it very interesting and moving. Definitely not your average bloke Ayrton Senna.

Good documentary. It's nice to see that he and Alain Prost settled their differences when Prost retired and that Prost is now a director of Senna's charity.

Yes. Prost was a pall bearer at Senna's funeral.
