Angry Case doesn't fit telescope

Bought a nice hard case from Bunnings today and the damn thing doesn't fit my new telescope.

I thought it would! I had to cut the bottom part of the foam (some of it) and plucked out the right shape and it doesn't fit!

Now I am 100% sure I can't get a refund arghhh!!!

If I didn't have an aluminium case for my DED108SS, I'd grab it from you. The FL102S needs one, but NONE of the Bunnings cases comes even close in length (it's a metre long)

I think I found a use.

My 130SLT mount needed a case, had to take the dovetail and tube rings off though.

Still got the foam stick it back in there and act dumb, hell at the rates there getting paid there not going to give it the full inspection. Or better yet "it was like this when i got it home".

I hope no-one on this forum is suggesting possible fraudulent behaviour. Getting cases to fit scopes isn't cheap or easy to find though I did get an aluminium and plastic case from Bunnings that my 102mm F6.5 scope fits into quite snuggly and cost about $35.
With some foam strategically glued in place it works well.

Take pictures and measurements and put it up for sale on IIS classifieds. It may be worthwhile for fellow IIS'ers.

Oops, should have put smilies into it . Tongue was firmly in cheek, obviously didn't get across. It was intended to be light hearted comment not serious suggestion.

Haha!

Hopefully the bigger version of this case will fit the scope. Might check out bunnings after work.

I use one of these bunnings airtight cases without foam to store eyepieces, binoviewers, etc, along with a rechargeable dessicant pack to make sure no mould grows on the optics.

ah that's no good,I am sure if its un marked and you have receipt you will get refund, even at worst and in stall refund value on another of their product.

However, my Vixen ED 81 apo scope needs a proper storage case for trips out west,if you post a piccy and specs I am sure you will sell it,if the vicky fits I'd be keen
