Rho Ophiuchus Nebula Complex with Berts lens

Howdy
I turned Berts 300mm F2.8 lens on the Rho Ophiuchus Nebula Complex, juat managing to fit most of it in after several shorter test images at various orientations.
4x5 mins ISO 200, uv/ir filter only.
Berts lens is so fast thet even at ISO 200 with the complex right overhead (making it hard to access the camera controls) the imahes were very bright with histogram almost in the middle. Processed in Iris with darks, flats and offsets. Finished in Photoshop and Noiseware CE.
Sky conditions quite good and rather cold.

Stunning result Scott. Your skies can't be too bad if you obtained that without a filter. Or is it good processing?

I want one

Oh no Striker, you missunderstood, Bert said give it to me!

Nice work Scotty and again I am very jealous that you can get your images in one shot

Looks a bit bright this end perhaps try uping the contrast a tad?

Excellent work.

Thanks for the look

Mike

Thanks
In the past Ive tried for this area using film but never got decent results. I was nearly going to use my uhc-s filter but as theres lots of broadband reflection nebulosity I thought it would be best without it, though I should try it and see.
