Cyclone Larry pic, with a dot where we are

Nice sat pic of larry, tracked pretty much West from this pic, missed us by about 80k. but the damage here still extensive, still cleaning up... . you can see the coastline on the image just...Cairns West North west of us...

Yeah , was pretty scary, I wasnt home when it hit was looking after the yatch, up the creek at cairns sharing the mangroves with half starved crocks and mosquitoes. Blew dogs off chains, unbelievable

Yeh that Cyclone Larry, extreme cyclone on record with 320km/hr winds on land! I can't believe it what happening! Anyone got video clips of it?

As a matter of fact ,,,I do have a bit of video

My wife was hiding under the table with the children. but was brave enough to point the handiiicam out at the window, so I have some a short clip of trees and debris, and part of our roof flying around the garden,,and the noise,,,sounds like a 747 in the living room. ill have to convert to a more appropriate media, tho,,

Sorry for Bringing this back, for those that dont want to know, but Ive finally got the info from the data logger that was trashed in the cyclone...
Wind speed at anenometers destruction was 243kph...yowwwwieee, lets go sailing..without a yacht...thought some may be curious...
