to prove i was up late - An Astrofest M42 widefield

two separate mornings - two unique shots. common factor is that they were no where near long enough exposed, both well under an hour. pity the daylight was coming quickly

yeah I know the second one is better - longer data too but I will have to spend some more time on it in a few months time. must get my own 40D's fixed first

No proof that you stayed up late was necessary, when it comes to staying up late you were/are the undisputed king (should there be an award for that....)

Nice work Dave, I have a couple of shots of M42 to process myself, but alas without the horse, when I get home.

yeah its a pity you couldn't get to that stage Phil, but you may have the 10 day makeover chance next year

I've ordered the Superman underwear and Cape from the same place y0u got got yours, plus the stay up late kit. Now all I need to do is practice and hope I can get time off again next year....
