Elephant Trunk Nebula IC1396 (narrowband-widefield)

Telescope/Lens Imaging: Nikon 180ED f2.8 (f4) (6.19 arcsec/pixel in bin 1x1).
Guiding scope: Skywatcher 70/500
Mount: Skywatcher EQ6
Imaging camera : QHY9, Guiding camera: Lodestar, Filters: Baader Planetarium 2” (Ha, OIII, SII[FarmaFilter])
Location: 2-3/8/2013 Parnonas, Greece
Exposure: Ha 5 x 1800 sec (bin 1x1), SII 10 x 1200 sec (bin 2x2), OIII 10 x 1200 sec (bin 2x2)
• Luminance: Ha + (blend SII/OII Tonemap)
• R:50%Ha + 50%SII, G:15%Hα + 85%ΟΙΙΙ and B:OIII
Software: Main Sequence Generator, PhD, DeepskyStacker (Drizzle 2X for SII/OII) Pixinsight 1.8 RC7.
The Elephant Trunk Nebula (IC1396) spans over thousands of light years , mixing bright and dark gas clouds. It is a place where stars are born, only 3000 light years from Earth. It is located in the constellation of Cepheus.
