Star Trek TNG Blu-Ray, wow!

I bought the first season of TNG on blu-ray today and all I can say is WOW! What a job they have done from the original negatives of the film to produce such a quality image.

For all those Star Trek fans I highly recommend getting it! Superior over the DVD copies.

Watched 'Encounter at Farpoint' and 'The Naked Now' today.

They did a very good job with the BluRay edition of TOS, too. A lot of work went into that, not just the digital transfer but also the fixing up of colour issues, dodgy special effects etc. In a very subtle way, mind you, not Lucas/Spielberg style… Plus you can use the angle feature to switch between original and remastered versions on the fly.

Amazing stuff. I noticed the weird red tint on the original DVD releases.
