Lawrence Krauss August 7th and Phil Plait August 8th, is anyone going?

Howdy astro peeps

Is anyone going to either Lawrence Krauss in Brisbane tomorrow night or Phil Plait on the Gold Coast on Thursday?

Looks like I'll be attending both by myself

Are tickets still available for Dr Krauss? I didn't even know he was in town!

haha, That's ok. I just finished reading "A Universe from Nothing" and I was watching a doco the other day, from the '90s and I forgot he was in it, he looks so young!

I still haven't got "A Universe From Nothing". I got half way through The Fifth Essence and it was boggling my mind a bit. I have also started reading The Physics of Star Trek which is a hard read (for me, at least) but lots of fun too with all the Star Trek references

Not sure if they are doing a book signing after the discussion, I have two books signed by him and was going to get a third maybe Last time I saw him he did "A Universe From Nothing" and watching that on youtube is what first got me onto him. So it was amazing finally getting to see it in person!

I understand it is not everyone's cup of tea but I think it is going to be a very interesting discussion and I'm really looking forward to it!

Ah I'm less disappointed now, I can't stand William Lane Craig. Surely he's lost enough debates by now that if he's not doing it purely for the money he's clinically deficient in whatever it is that makes us 1% different from chimps.
