M11

[cosmophoton (Luiz)]

This is an image of M11 with surrounding dark nebulae , taken last month in Alto Paraiso de Goias, Central Brazil.
This is my first LRGB image. I tried to balance the colors following the suggestions I received in IceInSpace from my previous trend on M7.
Setup: FSQ-106ED, Atik 383L+ EFW2 OAG, Orion Atlas EQ-G SSAG, Baader LRGB set, Sharpsky digital focuser, PHD, PixInsight.
Exposure: 4x5 min. L, 4X5 min. each RGB, total 80 min.

Nice photo. The colors are very well. But it seems to be a bit over-exposed. The stars of M 11 are saturated, and we can not well resolve them. Perhaps because of your intention to capture the dark clouds. Some trouble with guiding, too. The stars aren't with a good round shape.

Thanks for your thoughtful comments!
The over-exposition is not apparent in the original .fit file. I'm sending a crop from the original .fit image, which shows the stars more clearly. The over-exposition occurred when I converted the file to .jpg .If someone could illuminate me on how to convert correctly .fit files to .jpg files in PixInsight it would be very helpful.
Also, I failed to understand your comments about bad guiding, I don't think it is so bad. The stars seem quite round to me, as can be seen on the cropped image.
