Royal Newcastle Aero Club before and after

This was one of my best images from the 85th bday of the RNAC, I have since converted it to B&W and cropped what are your thoughts? It would have been a much nicer shot if the planes were coming towards us but the strong wind was against us for that. The birds featured in the image are the Grumman Avenger and 3 Pitts Specials. Thanks for looking and any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Daine,

I'm not one to comment on the pic but you're lucky to have been there.........after the blurb on last night's news I was waiting, camera ready for the fly over N'cle.........didn't hear them or see them, apparently they flew down (God knows what path they took) and went along the coast before returning to RNAC.

I grew up hanging around that hangar when it was still at B'meadow, Dad was the Chief Engineer there for almost 30 years.
