Mauna Kea Summit
My first post . Some photos taken at summit of Mauna Kea. . Guess most of you what kind of equipment lives up there !!!
Well after sunset we were able to just look up and enjoy the absolute magnificence of the sky at this altitude and darkness.
There are little bus tours that take you up there from the capital of the big island . well worth it if you are going to Hawaii
Cheers

Yeah its beautiful up there. In fact my avatar is a shot from up there. I was disappointed I didn't plan the star gazing tour around the moon phases better. The full moon meant I missed alot of the great detail in the night sky.
