Best Moon So Far

This is my pic of the super moon, Im really happy with how it turned out.

It is a single shot with a Panasonic GX1 on my home built 6 inch f8 newt.

ISO 1600
exposure 1/3200

Cool shootin Jo Home made scopes are rewarding when they produce captures like this Did you grind your mirror also ?

Yeah Bob, Im planing on grinding a mirror but haven't done it yet, at the moment Im working on a coopered wooden tube for my 8 inch f5 its comming along really nice, can't wait for first light

Awsome photo Jo , I have ground and made 2x5 inch , a 6 , 8 and 10 inch mirrors and scopes over the years , yes its very rewarding and not as hard as most people think ..

Thanks Brian, yes I will diffidently grind one, just got to finnish all the scopes Im working on at the moment
