Training the Dragons

Hi Folks,

New moon period almost over so a chance to try one last image for the month. Back under light polluted suburban Melbourne skies, clear at least but nothing compares to imaging under a dark sky!

NGC 6188 - The Dueling Dragons. First attempt at this one, 12x10 mins subs and just 1 lonely 1x10 min dark, (yep, need to shoot a lot more of them tonight).

Probably should have framed it landscape instead of Portrait, but pretty happy to just have the thing centered in the frame. It's not easy to see these things before stretching and processing!

Anyway, thanks for looking and your feedback is as always welcome.

Cheers

Andy

Still nice round stars there. Did you set up down on the ground I stead of the deck?

nice work Andy, perhaps you can add a couple of other panels either side and stitch it together? Great shot.

cheers,
