FOR SALE: Burgess Optical binoviewer BUR-BV-125 Type C & accessories

FOR SALE: Burgess Optical binoviewer BUR-BV-125 Type C & accessories

Sell as a package only at this stage:
- 1 x Burgess Optical binoviewer BUR-BV-125 Type C ($270)
- 1 x Burgess Optical binoviewer Optical Corrector Adaptor Lens ($60)
- 2 x GSO 20mm wide angle EPs (66deg) ($100)
- 3 x 110mm, 3 x 100m primary mirror extension bolts for GS Dob ($30)

See images attached.

All up price: $280. (cost me $460).

I bought these items all new several months ago, used them two or three times (from my deck). All in as new condition. Regrettable sale, haven't used my scope in months so selling off some bits n pieces :-(.

The binoviewer is the newer Type C version with the 3 nylon EP screws for finer high power EP adjustment. Recently Andrews had the earlier single-screw version for sale for $269 (binoviewer only).

The extension screws I bought from a specialty fastener supplier for about $30, and substituted them for my GS 8 inch dob primary mirror mounting and locking screws. This allows the newt to focus without the OCA, with standard focuser, and with not other modification to scope (i.e. full reversible). The OCA allows Newt focus without mod. Works really well, BTW, can give more if anyone is interested.

I have to say, fantastic views. This is a great, inexpensive way into 2-eyed viewing. Here’s a good review for the Burgess bv:

Will send by registered post. I work in Sydney CBD, so could meet you there also.

Pls post any questions here, or drop me an email or call my mobile 0404 351 561.

Cheers,
Mark
