Jupiter from tassie - 18th June, registax

Got my wifes cousin staying with us and was showing him the scope. I said, how bout looking at the high mag stuff?

The seeing was great towards the end, here are some registax outputs: 10fps x 90s & 5fps x 120s optimised colour, 5fps raw x 120s, 5fps raw x 120s, 10fps x 120s and 5fps x 120s

The filenames give the stack size and wavelet settings

Looking great Dave, some good data there to get through. Well done.

What's this butterworth high filter?

I went out last night, but bad seeing and sucker hole cloud meant I packed up just as quickly.

velly nice Davo!

Yeh, what is this butterworth filtery? Suspect this and exponential deconvolution settings require the upgraded version of AstraImage (I chose the basic)? Might have to pay the extra $50 and have a play...

cheers,

Great set of images Dave, you've really got this Jupiter imaging nailed eh! My favourites are the two in your 2nd post.

Cheers

FFT filter to the right of the VC deconvolution. Sir Asi has been playing in this area recently
