A Haiku in photos

I recently visited the Canberra War Memorial, there were three images I captured that especially impacted upon me, so I thought I'd put them into haiku form.

I thought this might make a nice thread if anyone else wants to continue the idea: each line of the haiku should be the title of the corresponding image.

Here is mine to start it off:

A flower for every death
Sacrificed unto democracy
Life juxtaposed

Very respectfully and eloquently done. The combination of photos and haiku are quite moving.
