Maroons thrash Blues 30-6 in Origin II
Hmm, seems awfully quiet in here compared to the posts from Origin I.
Let's hope for a cracker of a game for Origin III to keep the spirit of the format alive.

Now that was how we used to play league in my day (you know in high school) Hit 'em high, Hit 'em low and if they get up, Hit 'em again. Reminded me of the good ol' days of Noel Cleal, Big Mal and the other hard hitters (not Les Boyd....too many high shots )

Woot! I am the only Qld supporter at home and I could not believe the silence during/after the game....... no cock eyedness at all  ????? C'mon guys (NSW supporters) do you realise how much crap we had to put up with after game 1? LOL, yes game 3 should be a corker.

Go the QLD'ers! It was a great game, especially if you are a Queensland supporter. 
Wasnt it good seeing O'Meley leveled by Thaiday. Hopefully Thaiday gets more game time for Origin III to let those two at it again.

Do know that this past match and resulting score were a clever move by NSW to enhance league revenue and interest in the sport...
Although it has been fun to watch NSW win (regularly) it is not good for the game...
This was nothing more than a clever bit of marketing by the Blues...
Says I who am a Blues band wagon jumper oner only when they win and otherwise fair weather fan...

The ONLY good part about the Blues losing is that it makes the Melbourne game more interesting. Might even give Rugby League a boost in Victoria!
Can't say much yet but my Ballarat Dragons might be (slim) playing at half time at State of Origin III in Melbourne. 
Under 9's and Under 11's together against Altona Roosters 9's & 11's.
I will know more next week.
