Panorama of Perth

Here is the Panorama of Perth on the autumn day, 25th of May 2013 …
The Sun is almost gone – still visible yellowish reflection on some of higher buildings, the Moon has just risen, but is disappearing behind a band of clouds.
Also nicely visible are 4 light towers of the Subiaco Oval.

Nice Ian. I love the moonrise!

Another great spot for this skyline is one the South Perth foreshore. You'll miss the moon, though.

It is an excellent spot for a true wide-angle exposure.

Where did you take this from? It is quite elevated.

Looks to be taken from roughly the ANZAC Memorial in the gardens?

I used to use the famous blue boat house with jetty not far from there along the river for many shoots

Lewis, you're talking about blue boat house on the Swan River, but it's actually 5km away in the westerly direction, just opposite the entry to the Wembley Golf Course, City Beach, top of the hill .. see attached map ...
