First Sunrise shots

Hi these are a few first shots of sunrise i have done with a friend of mine we are fairly new to this and are looking for some feedback, I took the darker image of the two. It was quite a cloudy morning although we used it to our advantage to get the most interesting shot.

Nice ones Robert I have been doing these for a few months its addictive.I use live view and manual focus and try to keep the ISO at 100.Just keep experimenting every day is different. I use a zoom lense 28-300 so I can change scale quickly.I also use a wide angle or fisheye for wider shots as some days the whole sky is alive.

Thanks very much for the input we have just started out with the cannon 600D and used one of the standard 75mm lens. I must admit they are quite addictive
