Computer beeps continiously some help please

Hi Guys, maybe someone will come up with a suggestion on a small problem that has just occurred on my desk top.

On start up it usually gives a couple of short beeps, and all is well.

And although it starts OK and all programs are working fine this beep is now continuous and will not stop, until i physically turn it off

Could someone pleases suggest what maybe happening and how i can fix this, the desk top is running XP and to date it has flawless.

Thank You.

Leon

G'Day Leon,

I assume its not the standard beep codes which tell you if the keyboard or screen or video card is faulty.

Have a look at this:

It might be some hardware failing...

Had the same problem a while back .... One of the keys on the keyboard was sticking. beeping continously. Cleaned the keyboard and all was good.
