A small flare and a big tail - 17 May 2013

Hi all

I was able to infrequently image the Sun today - sleep in, hair cut, son to and from school etc etc.

The first three images were taken at approximately 11am, noon and 1pm - you can see a small pop in AR 1178 (middle pic) and other changes over time.

The last image is my second ever (the first happened the AVI prior) plane transit - hooray!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks gents - I should have had a more central shot but the frames were blank - a DMK thing!?
Here is the other one from the session - wing tip!

Nice discs Matt until that bloody great jet got in the way.
Yeah the DMK has a bad habit of droping frames at the wrong time.
Although I am not sure weather it is IC Capture or the computer, as I noticed the ASI120mm did it as well.
