Solar flare

Just a heads up:

Aparently a huge 2.8 X-class solar flare just went off, anyone with a solar scope should go take a look...

Aurora should be good for the next little while too I guess

Another one at X3.2 just not long ago. Trouble is that this is not directed at us. It is unlikely to impact Earth at all. If it is still producing X class flares once it is facing us then this will likely spark some great aurora activity. Without doubt though there has been a significant increase in activity in the last two months. More spots and more with delta or beta class energy signatures. Maximum might finally be arriving.
