I have a wibbly wobbly time lapse of the Eclipse here. Taken with this set up. Canon 550D, Sigma 70-300mm on a badly aligned Polarie. One shot every 15 seconds turned into grab as clear a shot as I can, when I can. LOL

The two images were taken through the ED80 using the 550D.
It was an amazing experience. I'd set up at a lookout, overlooking Lake Somerset.
I had 3 truck drivers, 2 motor bike riders, 3 day trippers, 2 grey nomads and a lady photographer and her boyfriend all stop and have a look through the telescope, take pictures using the solar specs to filter their lenses.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and they did too.
Oh, and the last Eclipse shot was taken using my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 using full 98x zoom (24x optical zoom, the rest is digital zoom) hand held, no tripod.
