Jupiter June 7

Yes.

The processing of old avi's continues during the ordinary east coast weather pattern.

Here's one from the 7th of June, again with the 8" f5 Skywatcher newt, in the early days of ToUcam heaven!

Managed an onion ring or 2 on this one. Bonus!

Also think I pushed the wavelets (sliders 4,5 and 6) a little too hard trying to bring out detail. It's introduced what I think is referred to as cross-hatching????? Anyone confirm that's what I'm seeing in this image?

Otherwise, the cam and scope combo continues to impress.

But honestly... can't wait to get the ToUcam in a 3x barlow or 4x Powermate at the back of the 9.25

thats better than the 5th, i have just got some cross hatching too on the 4th. Not sure what causes them. Try 2x1.1 or 3x1.1 me deconvolution in astra image or even some despeckle in photoshop, it may clean it up a bit.

Yup, gotta be happy with the combo!.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, 'lets reprocess 'cos the weather has taken a nose-dive'.

Not a bad image As to the cross-hatch....no idea.

Thanks Matt,

I was getting serious withdrawal symptoms.

Just needed a quick fix of another Jupiter, keep em comming, need one or two every 4 hours untill symptoms leave.

Nice detail, Pitty about the processing lines or what ever they are.

Can the planet be rotated the same way as the lines to help comouflage them?
