Any know how to make contact with Chris???? On the forum there's a few issues with the mirror lift function which seems to be causing some headaches with the latest release of DSLR Focus????????????????

Chris is a member of this forum, but I haven't seen him around in *ages*. I sent him an email several months ago and didn't hear back.

Which Canon are you using? 300 or 350? Are you using the "hack"?

I use this program and love it....I am also using the Shoestring hub in combination with this program and works perfectly on both the 20DA and 350D...great program...I love it.

I'm using the 350D ( no hack); the question was regards mirror lift function which appears to have worked in previous versions but not the latest????

Mirror locks works fine for me on version 3.3 plus the 3.3.15 patch...with both the 350d and 20DA.

I have been using it with both mirror lock on and off....never had a problem so far personaly.

Merlin66,

Is your problem with not being able to take shots with mirror lock whilst in focusing mode? As far as I know, I don't think it is possible to take focus shots with locked mirror mode on.

Regards,
H
