Hi all,
Here's the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) passing over Brisbane this evening. It was nice and bright (magnitude 1), passing between the bright stars Canopus and Sirius just after 7pm.
This is a series of 6 second exposures with the Canon 50D and Tokina 11-16mm lens at f/2.8 and 1600 iso, stacked them using Startrails software. At the end of the pass I closed the aperture down to f/11 and did a bit of light painting with a multi-coloured LED torch, and included this in the stack
Cheers,
Stephen
