Left overs 23/4/13

I did not get a look at Sol today but did finish some footage from yesterday.

I really like your high-res limb/prom shots Ralph.

This might help with the full hemisphere shots: the sun's flux does not form bands or off-centre hot spots...but tilted Etalons sure do!

While instrument artifacts can be a pain to control, they are just that, not a "real-representation" of the sun which can ruin an otherwise good image.
