Exclamation ISS Solar Transit Sydney April 14

At 13:08:44 apparently visible within a circle radius 3.7km from -33.6846 150.9309

That lat/lon is only metres from Bruce Purser Reserve, Commercial Rd, Kellyville.

There's another one April 18 11:23:47 with radius 3.1km around -33.8710 151.1803 - say Bicentennial Park, Glebe

Matt, I shot it as video with my A77 and a 150-500mm lens. At first it looked like I'd missed it but I have about 1sec with the ISS crossing the Sun.

The prediction I had for -33.6846 150.9309 being the centre was a bit off - I'd say a bit far west as the ISS crossed near the top. There was a AFL game going on at the oval so I relocated to the park on the other side of Commercial Rd - even further west.

Conditions weren't ideal and it's very fuzzy. The original is 1080p.

Always great to get the transit.
We have another in Brisbane on the 25 April - 8.43am. I plan to follow the path and set up on the coast. It is interesting to see that calsky keeps updating the path as it has changed slightly from when I looked a few days ago - a great site!
