A different Sun...

Have to say I'm warming to this sort of solar processing. Filaments look like clouds....which they are in a way...

The magnetic constraints on the Sun's turbulent ionized atmosphere are more obvious....

Probably best if I don't wax too lyrical...

its very 3dish Peter - quite nice. the filaments and the proms look great, as too the sun spot regions, but the bright outer edge seems to cut the continuity from the detail to the proms? I like what you have done - far far better than anything i can do, but thats just my thoughts

Fair 'nuff. Problem is.... the real data goes to "black" at the limb, which is "white" with this presentation. Perhaps something a little less terse is required..
