just a quick question. Is anyone else receiving disturbing communications from Foxtel that kind of might be relevant if I had Foxtel? But I don't now and never have had the service.
A fortnight ago, I got some calls to my house phone from a number in Sydney. I pick up and there's no-one there.
I googled the number and there was a whole heap of stuff about it being a number used by Telstra to take Foxtel queries, and there was a whole load of peeps thinking what I'm thinking.
A week later I get a call on my mobile at some ungodly hour of the morning from the installer saying he's only 20 minutes away. Just as well he never turned up or he'd have gotten something he didn't expect at that hour of the morning.
And now, on my mobile, I just received an SMS from Foxtel saying how my Foxtel direct debit payment couldn't be processed this month due to insufficient funds in my account. Please visit FOXTEL.com.au/myaccount or call 131999 to pay ($180) - wtf !!
It doesn't bother me too much as it's easy to ignore. But I was just wondering if this is normal procedure for Fuxtel - I mean Foxtel?
I suppose I could give them a call and have a bit of a laugh
