Couple of lightning snaps

Here a two of many lightning snaps taken a few weeks ago.
The 1st was taken with the 500D using a lightning trigger and the second with the 7D was taken a few weeks earlier traditional bulb style.
Wish I had my 6D then.

Cheers Daniel.

Very nice Daniel, nothing like a good storm and some nice strikes, well done.

Thanks Leon, as you well know about the risks of taking storm shots.
On one of the nights of these shots it was about 2:00am and I was knackered and just about to go to bed when I seen a quick flash of light through the window... the next second I am out there wide awake under the eves hiding
from the rain and snapping away and hoping for that lightning money shot.
