First Rocket Launch from Cape Canaveral

Great picture and story on APOD today:

http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap060604.html

about the first rocket launch "Bumper 2" from cape Canaveral.

Would've been such amazing technology for the time.. i mean, just look at the onlookers and their equipment. Such a change today.
