Combining multi frames software question.

Hi. I recently got myself an ASI120MM mono CCD camera. I'm going to primarily going to use it for guiding, but would also like to try it on planets and the sun.
My question is, i have 4 stacked frames from 4 different AVI's (as the sun did not fit on the sensor so i took 4 movies to cover the sun)
and want to stitch them together and combine them.
I tried PS-automate-photomerge without any success.
Is there any good programs out there for combing such images?

Thanks.
Steve.

Try Hugin on your 4 frames. AutoPano is probably overkill.

I have just started processing with FITSWORK. It's a steep learning curve, very powerful and may have some options for you.
Search for it, it's free BUT check out the tutorial from
http://intervalometer.appspot.com/Fitswork.jsp
first as it doesn't quite work the way you expect.
