Tried to imge a few more galaxies last night in preparation for a quick SN patrol, so I was mainly testing out the plate solving and meridian flip of the system and during this time capture 6x10 min Lum of each of these using QSI 583 camera and 10"GSO RC.
Every thing worked excellently so I was very happy.
Comments welcomed

They've turned out well Allan. The second one will make a nice target for the RC with some more exposure and some RGB.
Thanks Peter, but it all depends on the weather.

Just scanning through NGC images to see whats up and whats interesting. I have another target that I managed to get one 10 min L sub of from the other night that really is interesting as it has a minimum of 20 galaxies of different types in it> Thats the one Ill do next.
Allan
nice teasers Allan. so your setting up to SN search?
David
Been heading that way for quite a while but have searched hard to find a program that will do exactly what I want in relation to plate solving, multiple targets, meridian flip etc etc and finally found what I wanted in SGPro. Brilliant piece of software and doesnt need any costly add-ons like ccd commander etc.

Both nice shots Allan; it's nice when everything works as it is supposed to, isn't it! Good luck with your SN searches.
Thanks David for the nice comments. Yes it's been great just recently as the dome, camera, auto focus etc etc etc has just been working great and I can sit inside with the iPad and watch what's going on in the observatory. Just satisfying in the extreme.

I remember at astrofest you showing me sequence generator and how impressed you were with it but I only think you had been playing with it for like a week. Glad all is working well and the images look great.

Thanks Mark. Yes only just trialling it out at that stage but I was so impressed with it I bought it as soon as I got home from Astrofest. But they have not stood still and the program is rapidly evolving with everyones suggestions and requests. Very responsive team.
Hope to see you this year at Astrofest.
