Refractor carry bag, where to get one?

I just recently got a refractor telescope with a focal length of 910mm and aperture of 90mm.

For my 130 SLT (Newtonian) I bought two bags (one for the tripod and one for the tube which have been excellent).

Can anyone recommend me a bag for the tripod (+ EQ2 mount) and the tube? I can't seem to find refractor bags anywhere!

Thanks.

Would there be anything closer to home and a decent, not too expensive price?

Hi,

After some deliberation I bought a cricket bag for my long refractor. It turned out to be a tight squeeze for length, although it does give me loads room for the mount/tripod and alot of extras.
Now I have strapped it to a cheap furniture removal style trolley for dealing with stairs and rough terrain. Now it is the go anywhere rig!
See attached pics for scope/mount/bag... I wrap the scope in an old sleeping bag for protection from other items in the bag.

Something that I wasn't aware of until well after I bought the cricket bag, golf travel bags! They are designed to encapsulate a full set of golf clubs and be securable for transport as luggage. A bit more length and more compact than my cricket bag...

I grabbed a Makita LXT cordless drill and accessories bag that work was going to throw out yeaserday . Its brand new and is a perfect size for my SKY90 and accessories as it has 6 different sized pockets on the outside .
Very well made .
A great score that saved me $100 bucks or so .
Brian.

You may want to try a ski shop. They usually have a range of padded bags of various sizes.
