I purchased the camera 2 years ago for $940. The camera has been used but is "as new".
You will need a 9-pin IEEE 1394b Cable (that goes at the back of the camera) and a FireWire card for your PC/Laptop. Cables are available from ebay from $10 for 3m cable. FireWire cards are again available from ebay from ~ $30.
